Game: Update 39
We recently did a major spring cleaning of the project—removing unused assets, deprecated systems, and redundant files. In tandem, we reorganized the content structure to make it easier for new developers to onboard and navigate the project efficiently. It’s a small behind-the-scenes win that should have a big long-term impact on collaboration and scalability

We’ve begun populating the modern era with hidden alleys and secret zones—tucked-away spaces that will serve as the foundation for our in-game NPC factions. These areas won’t just be atmospheric; they’ll become hubs for acquiring unique items and forging allegiances as players progress through the story

Game: Update 37
We’ve expanded the skyline for the modern era, adding new high-rise silhouettes to enrich the visual density and vertical drama of Billionaires Row. The updated skyline reinforces the thematic contrast between ambition and fragility at the heart of Maja’s world. It also helps ground the player in a version of Manhattan that feels both familiar and ominously heightened

Game: Update 36
We’re introducing a new contextual loading screen system that displays location-based screenshots—so if Maja is heading into her apartment, you’ll see a preview of her space, and if she’s stepping outside, the city streets will greet you. On top of that, the main menu will now feature an in-game video sequence that plays a snapshot of the last location your character visited, adding a layer of continuity and immersion from the moment you launch the game

We’ve expanded the modern era’s outdoor level with a new addition—one-fifth of Central Park is now fully playable. This lush section brings a rare sense of openness and natural contrast to the dense verticality of Billionaires Row, highlighting the tension between urban ambition and environmental fragility

Game: Update 34
We’re wrapping up the final street in the Cyber Era map and introducing a new feature called the “Central Pass”—our futuristic tribute to Central Park. In a world where real trees have all but vanished, this area acts as a holographic sanctuary, showcasing extinct plant life like a neon-lit museum of lost nature. We’ve also updated all four core towers with a cohesive cyberpunk aesthetic to match the era’s visual tone and narrative stakes

Game: Update 33
We’ve kicked off development on the Cyber Era level, a futuristic reimagining of our modern Manhattan map. The plan includes constructing detailed versions of 57th, 58th, and 59th Streets along Billionaires Row, elevated above a climate-altered landscape. We’re also beginning early layout work on a cyberpunk take of Central Park, aiming to include at least one-fifth of its transformed terrain

We’ve added new voiceover lines to a variety of environmental bubbles across the game. These additional recordings give Maja’s surroundings even more texture—turning ordinary objects into narrative touchpoints and emotional cues

Game: Update 31
We’ve started a proof of concept for visualizing Inner Voice evolution. As a skill progresses from 0 to 100, its icon will shift in design every 20 points—adding nuance and a sense of personality growth to each voice. This helps communicate both mechanical progression and psychological development

Game: Patch 28
We’ve completed our upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.5. A few things broke during the transition, but the issues have since been resolved and everything is running smoothly again

Bugs & New Additions
./ Fixed issue where player location would not be saved after clicking continue.
./ Reduced default main menu music sound by 20%.
./ Removed the ability to rescale the UI with the minimalist button.
./ Level settings have been disabled for now.
./ Fixed bug where camera rotation with "Q" or "E" would not work sometimes.
./ Changed spawn location for Maja.
./ Chapters UI has been fixed, where it properly shows up.

We’re experimenting with different portrait styles to find one that captures the emotional complexity of our characters. The goal is to evoke the painterly, psychological feel of Disco Elysium, without directly replicating it. Every brushstroke should carry weight—echoing memory, conflict, and identity

This is a small but productive update. We’ve added Maja’s cat, Allie, and Lucy's MetaHuman.

./ Added an additional icon for the cellphone.
./ Corrected icon order of the in game UI overlay.

./ Renamed "Money Gained" to "Coins Gain" upon coin pick up.
./ Added ability to move portrait from bottom left corner to middle left area.
./ Added fade effect to UI where its more translucent unless the mouse hovers over.

Set in the modern era, every floor of this landmark will be explorable, revealing the hidden influence of the Cathouse Club.
