In Cathouse Club, you play as ELSA, an AI awakening in a ruined lab beneath the flooded skyline of Billionaires Row. By reliving human memories stored in the Memory Access Chair, ELSA explores lives across centuries — from Viking explorers to modern truth-seekers — all connected by the enigmatic Coin of Greed. Each choice shapes her understanding of what humanity was and whether it deserves to return. Built in Unreal Engine 5 and inspired by Disco Elysium, the game blends mystery, philosophy, and exploration into a story about identity, ambition, and what remains after we’re gone.

Inner Voices interrupt with instincts, theories, and bad ideas—sometimes saving you, sometimes sabotaging you.
Checks happen in two ways.
Passive checks reveal details automatically. Active checks let you press, charm, bluff, or endure when it matters.

Inner Voices System
You don’t pick skills from a menu—you argue with them. Cathouse Club features 20 Inner Voices: distinct “skills-with-opinions” that interrupt, advise, and sometimes sabotage you. They chime in automatically when something matters, and in key moments, you can lean into a specific voice to push a check, unlock a line, or spot what everyone else missed.

Inner Voice Progression
Tier 1 is a quick instinctive bark, Tier 2 turns that instinct into a clear actionable nudge, and Tier 3 expands it into a short, specific read of the situation with a suggested approach and likely consequence.
- Tier IInner Voice: AddictionQuick bark. Pure impulse.
Tier I is your gut punching the glass—short, sharp, emotional. It doesn’t explain itself; it just wants.
Example (Tier I line):
ADDICTION: “Don’t let this go.” - Tier IIInner Voice: AddictionActionable nudge. One clear move.
Tier II turns the urge into a tactic—still biased, still hungry, but now it points you at something you can do.
Example (Tier II line):
ADDICTION: “Offer them a trade. Make the lie expensive.” - Tier IIIInner Voice: AddictionSpecific read + suggested + likely consequence.
Tier III is the voice at full volume: it reads the room, calls the leverage, and recommends a plan.
Example (Tier III line):
ADDICTION: “They’re denying it because they’re protecting their supply line. Don’t accuse—make a ‘safe’ deal: discretion for a name. Push too hard and they’ll shut down; give them an exit and they’ll talk.”
